Wasted Land is a pioneering Saudi metal band from Jeddah, formed in 2004. Blending melodic death metal with alternative metal, the band has spent over two decades pushing the boundaries of the region’s heavy music scene.
From opening for Lacuna Coil at Dubai Metal Festival to winning the Wacken Middle East Battle 2024 and becoming the first Saudi band to perform at Wacken Open Air in Germany, Wasted Land continues to carry the sound of Saudi metal to international stages.
With a relentless live presence and a growing body of original music, Wasted Land stands as one of the defining forces of Saudi Arabia’s underground metal movement.
